As above, best to turn off MobileMe calendar sync first and let it delete calendars from your old phone / touch, then do the new caldav thing. Thanks for the tip!

this not completly correct, Mac OS X is unix and the native format is a single \n just like Linux. however, many OS X tools will also work with \r since that was the native format of the old OS 9 and earlier Mac systems.

Thank you, this worked great. I also went into settings and turned off my calendars in my .mac account so that I wouldn’t have duplicate entries.

This does not work with 10.6.5 when you select company name it adds the company name field below the name field. It’s not an either or option.
